The Lorax, the movie, is about a teenage boy and his quest to find an extinct tree, and Ashley, his friend, and girl of his dreams, who longs to see a real tree. This animated adaptation of the book by Dr Seuss, also tells the story of the greedy Once-ler and the grumpy but charming Lorax.

This film is just right for Primary School children, but you’ll enjoy it too. Littlies are welcome. As well as the film there will be games for everyone to play.
This event is entirely free and organised by the Shire Climate Action Network (Shire CAN) with the support of Tradies.

Originally from Sydney, Nikita Karmen is a singer/songwriter who has spent much of her music career touring the US.
With a large repertoire of covers and original songs, you can catch her stunning vocals and guitar in Folk at Tradies Gymea on Sunday the 22nd of September from 1-4pm.
F Key Piano Man is a multi-talented musician, sharing his talented blend of piano tunes, vocals and repertoire of over 300 song.
Catch his music live in Folk at Tradies Gymea on Thursday the 26th of September from 6:30 – 9:30pm.
With Bindi on vocals and Darren on the piano, Midnight Avenue is a locally loved duo with a fantastic sound and extensive repertoire of classic and popular hits.
You can catch them performing live in Folk a Tradies Gymea on Friday the 27th of September from 7:30 – 10:30pm.
Having a knack of knowing what the audience wants to hear, Sarah’s extensive repertoire features classics from the 1950’s through to modern day hits.

Matt is an experienced musician and when he’s not touring with ‘The Oils’ Midnight Oil tribute band, you’ll find him entertaining audiences in Sydney and Wollongong with his cruisy, acoustic covers.
You can catch Matt performing live in Folk a Tradies Gymea on Sunday September 29th from 1-4pm.
Join us for an evening of fun and fundraising with Learning Links Charity Housie at Tradies Gymea – Monday & Tuesday nights from 7pm!
The money raised through Charity Housie helps fund Learning Links’ educational programs to support children with learning difficulties.
Similar to Bingo, Housie players buy books of tickets, hoping their numbers are called first so they can win the cash or prizes that are up for grabs.
