Sustainable Futures Grants

Our award-winning grants program has helped schools, early learning centres and NFP community organisations fund sustainability projects.

Tradies Sustainable Futures Grants started in 2014 to help promote environmental change and sustainable development in and beyond our community.

To date, we have received over 563 applications and provided $215,142 to help fund sustainability projects across Australia including bushland regeneration, school vegetable gardens and chicken coops, composting programs, sustainable irrigation systems, solar panels and energy efficiency initiatives.

Applications for the 2024 grant round have closed. The new grant round will open in February 2025.

Meet our Judging Panel

Thank you to the sustainability experts from Rana Environmental, Power Waste Management, Sustainable Organisations Sutherland Shire and Symbio Wildlife Park who kindly donate their time and expertise to assess each application with Tradies own Green Team.

Showcase Recipient

Jannali Preschool awarded our biggest sustainability grant to date!

Jannali Preschool received a $10,000 grant to install solar on their roof. They now run their preschool (air conditioning, lighting, appliances and hot water) off the solar power they produce. Not only have they drastically reduced their carbon footprint but also their bills have dropped by an impressive 89%!
