It’s time once again for the Tradies NRL footy tipping competition to kick off with the 2021 edition! This year will run with the same rules as last year, with every entrant also being included in the knockout competition. The cost of entry will be $30 per person with $20 of that going towards prizemoney for the tipping comp and the other $10 towards the knockout comp. All entry fees collected will go towards prizemoney with Tradies contributing additional prizes valued at over $500. The prize breakdown will be as follows ;
- 1st place tipster – 45% of total prizemoney
- 2nd place tipster – 25% of total prizemoney
- 3rd place tipster – 15% of total prizemoney
- 4th place tipster – 10% of total prizemoney
- 5th place tipster – 5% of total prizemoney
- 100% of knockout competition prizemoney will go to the last tipster standing
- Additional prizes (to be determined) to be given away throughout the year valued at over $500
Entering the competition is simple, visit www.itipfooty.com.au and register for an account. Once registered you will need to join Tradies Tipping Comp with the competition id #104677 and password “Tradies1”. Payment can be made at Members Bar or Reception at Gymea, Reception at Caringbah and Main Bar or Reception at Helensburgh. Payment must be received before kickoff of the opening game of the season, 8pm Thursday 11th March. Please notify staff at time of payment the name(s) of competitors you are paying for as anyone not confirmed as financial by 8pm Thursday 11th March will be kicked from the competition. No exceptions!
Scoring will remain the same as last year with 1 point for a win and a bonus 2 points for a correct full round tipped with bye rounds not included. Failure to submit tips will result in the tipster receiving the lowest score achieved for that round, and everyone will have 1 joker round of double points to use at their discretion. Each tipster will also be required to guess a margin for the first game of each week to be used as a tiebreaker should multiple tipsters finish with the same score total.
