To our valued Members,

COVID-19 VACCINATION STATUS and CLUB ENTRY

We are all by now only too aware of the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the individual, the community and business. Tradies has always put the safety of its members, guests and staff as the highest priority. Tradies recognises that it is a personal choice to be vaccinated, however we have an overriding duty of care under Work Health and Safety legislation and regulations to ensure the health and safety of our staff, members, guests and community.

Tradies notes the findings of the Doherty health modelling, prepared for the National Cabinet (https://www.doherty.edu.au/news-events/news/statement-on-the-doherty-institute-modelling-final-report-to-national-cabin), which states that those who are not fully vaccinated have a higher risk of transmitting the coronavirus to staff and other patrons. We also note from the public health order (October 2021) “the risk (to public health in NSW) is from and among people who remain unvaccinated because these people are more likely to be infected, more at risk of severe illness and death resulting from infection and more likely to transmit the infection to others than fully vaccinated people.”

After extensive discussion and consideration, the Tradies Board has decided that from

15th December 2021 the following requirements must be met for entry to all Tradies premises (Gymea, Caringbah, Helensburgh):

  • Entry will be restricted to fully vaccinated members, guests and visitors (16 years & over) who can provide acceptable proof of vaccination. Please note that we only accept the vaccination proofs approved by the NSW Government. This means that letters from doctors or pharmacies, screenshots or photographs of certificates are not accepted.  Children under 16 are exempt.
  • Members, guests and visitors with a NSW COVID-19 vaccine medical contraindication form will be permitted entry
  • Members, guests and visitors who have an Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) immunisation medical exemption form (IMO11) will be permitted entry

The Board has also decided that this decision will be reviewed late January 2022 or earlier if health orders or circumstances warrant. Please be assured that the Club continues to implement other controls under our COVID Safety Plan to mitigate the risks associated with COVID-19.

We ask that you are kind to our staff who are here to assist and ensure you have the best experience possible.

Should you wish to provide feedback on this matter, please email feedback@tradies.com.au

Please note that the NSW Government requires that all persons entering our venues continue to sign in with the Service NSW QR Code check in.

As always, our team will do their very best to make your entry to our venues as smooth as possible. We ask for your patience and understanding while we work through this challenging time together.

Extension of Tradies Loyalty Rewards Points

Tradies Loyalty Rewards Points usually expire on the 30th of November each year. Given the long period of closure in 2021, these points will be extended until November 30, 2022

On behalf of our Board of Directors, Management and Staff we thank all our members for your support, patience and understanding.

Our team are complying with all Government requirements as well as our club COVID Safe Policy so that we can help you celebrate and relax in a welcoming and safe environment and continue to support our community.
