To our valued Members & Guests,
Unfortunately, Tradies Gymea (including Endota spa) will be closed on Wednesday the 30th of December.
Please be aware that this closure is NOT related to covid-19, but the result of an incident earlier in the year. Both our Tradies Caringbah and Tradies Helensburgh venues will be open as normal.
After an incident in June 2020 involving a minor who gained entry with a fake ID, the Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority (ILGA) determined that we must close our doors at Tradies Gymea for one day.
As a community club, we take our responsibilities and legal obligations very seriously and hold ourselves to the highest standard of compliance with all regulations. Unfortunately, due to an unfortunate series of events on this particular occasion, our standards were not upheld. We take full responsibility for the incident and accept the decision of ILGA to enforce a period of closure as a result.
As always, we remain committed to supporting our community and as such, our staff at Gymea will be paid for their rostered shifts on this day.
We apologise for any inconvenience the temporary closure at Tradies Gymea causes and thank our loyal members for your continued support and understanding. Members who will miss the Tradies Gymea experience on this day are encouraged to visit Tradies Caringbah or Helensburgh.
We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday period and look forward to seeing you when we re-open at 10am on Thursday December 31st.
Dennis McHugh (President) & Jason McMaster (General Manager)
