Supporting the Community

Tradies has long been committed to serving the community, and sponsorship is one key area in which Tradies enjoy doing so. In 2009 our total amount of community donations exceeded $400,000, with many teams and community groups receiving continued Tradies sponsorship for a number of years. Tradies proudly supports over 50 sporting and community groups in the area.

Many members of the Sutherland Shire rely on local community groups for help when they have no where else to turn, including the Salvation Army, Lifeline, Southern Community Welfare, Margaret House Respite Care and many more organisations. These groups are not funded by the government and rely solely on non-government funding for their survival. Many of these groups may not be able to function without the continued support of Tradies.

Not only does Tradies support vital community groups, Tradies is also a major contributor to sporting teams throughout the Sutherland Shire. Tradies endeavours to support local junior sport, which helps to keep our kids fit and healthy, plus they get to play the sport they love. Tradies is proud to support these sporting organisations as we realise that funding is an integral component for the survival of junior sport in the Sutherland Shire.

Serving Our Community

Tradies exists to serve the community.

Nothing encapsulates these ethos than the Tradies Community Service Volunteer Program (CSVP). The CSVP calls for all Tradies staff members to give of themselves, their time, hearts and hands in support of those people in need. Every staff member is firmly committed to the pursuit of volunteerism and helping those less fortunate than ourselves.

So far the CSVP has helped organization such as, Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal, Meals on Wheels, Minerva St Public School, Sutherland Shire Animal Shelter, Red Cross, Heart Foundation, Canteen, National Breast Cancer Association, SIDS and many others. We are proud to be of service to these worthwhile organisations.
